A few things to know.
Tools to prepare you for a quote, with their limits in plain sight.
Is this a quote for my home?
No. We use selected national manufacturer references. A contractor must assess the equipment and installation scope to quote your project. Read the methodology.
Do I need to share my phone number?
No. The calculator, guides and checklist are available without signup, email or a phone number. Calculator selections are not submitted.
Should I repair my AC or replace it?
Start with a written diagnosis, then compare repair scope, warranty, comfort and a defined replacement option. Age alone does not decide. Use the decision guide.
Can I keep the furnace or existing ducts?
Possibly. Request an assessment of compatibility, condition and airflow. Compare replacement scopes before assuming every component must go or can stay.
Are these guides independently reviewed by an HVAC professional?
Not yet. We cite manufacturer and public technical sources and explain our editorial analysis. We have no verified contractor quote dataset or independent professional review. About the project.
